Exciting News: WHIZ Features For the Love of Primates!

Yesterday was a momentous day for For the Love of Primates! We had the incredible opportunity to welcome WHIZ News to our property in Crooksville, Ohio, where they filmed a special feature about our mission and the exciting progress toward establishing our primate sanctuary.

As the cameras rolled, we shared the heart and vision behind For the Love of Primates. Our 60-acre property, nestled in the peaceful countryside, will soon become a sanctuary where retired laboratory primates and those from the pet trade and entertainment industries can live out their lives in safety and comfort. We highlighted our ongoing efforts to construct the sanctuary, including the development of the Habitat I building and the administrative cabin that will support our operations.

WHIZ News captured not just our plans, but also the passion that drives our work. From the natural beauty of the land to the dedication of our team, the segment offers a glimpse into the future of compassionate care for primates and the positive impact this sanctuary will have on the community.

One of the highlights of the visit was the chance to share our capital campaign initiatives. With naming opportunities for sanctuary spaces, personalized tiles, and a donor wall to honor those who contribute over $5,000, there are many ways to be part of this transformative project.

We are deeply grateful to WHIZ News for shining a spotlight on For the Love of Primates and helping us spread the word about the vital work we’re doing. This feature is more than just an update; it’s an invitation to join us in creating a brighter future for primates who have long been overlooked.
