This #GivingTuesday, be a voice for primates!

This Giving Tuesday, you can make a big impact by creating a Facebook fundraiser to support For the Love of Primates. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you get started:

Step 1: Log in to Facebook

First, log into your Facebook account and navigate to the homepage.

Step 2: Go to the Fundraisers Page

On your homepage, look for the menu on the left-hand side (on desktop) or at the bottom (on mobile). Click on Fundraisers. You can also search for “Fundraisers” in the search bar at the top of your screen.

Step 3: Select “Raise Money for a Nonprofit”

Click the Raise Money button and select Nonprofit from the options. Then, in the search bar, type For the Love of Primates and select our organization from the dropdown list.

Step 4: Set Your Fundraising Goal and End Date

Set a fundraising goal that reflects the impact you want to make. You can also set the end date for your fundraiser—make sure it runs through Giving Tuesday or extends a few days to give people extra time to donate.

Step 5: Personalize Your Fundraiser

Add a personal touch to your fundraiser by telling people why For the Love of Primates is important to you. Share why you care about primate welfare and how supporting our sanctuary will make a difference for animals in need.

Step 6: Choose a Cover Photo

Facebook automatically provides a cover photo, but you can upload a personal image or select one from our Facebook page to make your fundraiser stand out.

Step 7: Share Your Fundraiser

Once your fundraiser is set up, click Create! Be sure to share it on your timeline and invite your friends and family to contribute. Don’t forget to post updates and thank your supporters as donations come in.
