Rian Nagel

Community representative

Rian Nagel, our community representative, is an activist and philanthropist from Akron, Ohio. 

With a wide background in leadership and retail merchandising; Rian recently shifted her focus to her true passions (that ultimately go hand in hand) animals & our environment. 

When she isn’t hanging out in her house plant-filled apartment with her other half Shane and their rescue puppy Hank; you’ll find Rian fighting against the exploitation and abuse of animals whether in factory farming, traveling circuses, Ohio puppy mills, as well as various climate strikes.

Bringing creativity, passion, love & equality of all creatures, and her goal of a zero waste & sustainable lifestyle, Rian is a perfect addition to our board.
